Single Family House

This is a single family house in a plot near the old airport of Lacatamia near Nicosia, where height restrictions still apply. Scapearchitecture decided to develop the house building using the limits creatively, to overcome the obstacle by making it part of the design, so that the house would have a distinct presence in this area.
the challenge was met by designing a house that takes shape and form using the restriction of the Protection Zone of Flights as an actual surface of the building, as an inclined roof to cover all “public” spaces of the house.
