The Science of Medicine holds a key position between Human Science and Physical Science. The Medical School in the Campus spans and connects spaces, providing synapses to a larger unifying matrix.
The building’s position on the slope connects two different networks at the campus, forming the transition between the urban environment on the top of the hill and the natural landscape of the river on the bottom.
The Medical School building intends to incorporate the natural slope inside as an Atrium, knitting the built forms around this smooth transition along the site.
